Peer Review Process

The procedure of publishing an article with HIS is as follows:

  • Registration in the Journal’s website and the uploading of the article’s file there (the file should be uploaded by corresponding author)
  • Preliminary evaluation (if the article does not fit the Journal’s bases, premises, or subjects, it will be returned to the author at this stage). This stage lasts for ten days.
  • Review (the average time for reviewing in this journal is about one month, and the average time for the whole process of reviewing and acceptance is about 4 months)
  • Edition and layout
  • Publication

The received articles are first evaluated by the Journal board and are, afterward, sent to two reviewers. The final acceptance of the article is based on similar views of the reviewers. However, the final decision is made by the Journal board.
