Article Writing Guide

Guideline for Authors
An article sent to HSI should include these sections in order: abstract, introduction, literature review, discussion (including theory, analyses, and findings), conclusion, acknowledgement, endnotes, references, and the English section.
Abstract
The Persian abstract (250 to 300 words) followed by keywords (up to 5 words) should be typed in a separate page headed by the title of the article.
The abstract should briefly introduce the subject, the problem, the significance of the study, the purposes, the methodology, the major findings, and the implications of the research.
Please note that the tense of verbs used in the abstract should be in the past tense since abstracts chronologically speaking are the last section written in every research.
Introduction
The introduction section should include these parts respectively: the problem, the purposes, the main questions, and the methodology. In the methodology section, the writers should deal with the procedure, data collection, the devices, the participants, the number of samples, sampling, and data analysis procedure.
Literature Review
Literature review is necessary for all kinds of articles, and the titles of books, theses, articles, and relevant research projects should be mentioned along with their years of publications.
Conclusion
Conclusion should provide not only an answer to the research questions but also a logical clarification of research discussion and findings.
Acknowledgement
This is where authors are required to acknowledge any one or any organization(s) which help them conduct the research project.
Endnotes
This part which comes at the end of article includes word equivalents, acronyms, and abbreviations in an enumerated way.
References
Citations in this journal follow Iran’s procedures set by (APA). Reference section should include the most recent Persian and English references in the field of study, which have been cited in the text.

Guideline for Pictures and Diagrams
Authors can include at most 15 images, pictures, diagrams, and tables in their papers. The quality of these materials should be high, and they should be sent in jpg format with the precision of 300dpi. Pictures, images, and so on should be numbered, and their numbers should be mentioned in the footnote in order. In cases of necessity, these pictures should be arranged in the format of tables. These tables and diagrams should be referred to in the main text. Furthermore, they should be numbered, and their features and sources should be noted above the tables and below the diagrams.
English Section
English section comes at the very end of article following the Reference Section. This section includes English abstract (300 to 400 words) headed with the title of article and followed by keywords.

It should be note that at time of uploading the files, the file of English abstract should be uploaded separately as well.
Before uploading the article, authors should study the publication ethics of the journal.
HSI only considers and reviews those articles which have observed the Journal’s format; thus, articles which do not follow the pre-set format will be returned to the authors, before any considerations by the Editorial Board.
Authors can send their articles to the Journal only by referring to the journal website, http://hsi.kashanu.ac.ir, and registering according to the instructions given. Once having registered, they can upload the files as they are instructed.
At time of registration, authors must type in their institutional affiliation, the name of the institute or university for which they work, orcid code, telephone number (land phone and cell phone), and their e-mails.
To check the originality of the uploaded articles or other possible abuses, HSI Journal uses Irandak service. In case of proved plagiarism, the author(s) will be blacklisted.
Forms of commitment and conflict of interest should be uploaded at time of registration. Authors can download these forms from the Journal website, http://hsi.kashanu.ac.ir and, then, singing and uploading them.
The information provided by HSI’s articles can be used freely on the condition of exact citation of articles.
The uploaded Persian and English abstract keywords in the journal site should be the same as those mentioned in the text of the article.
Editor-in-Chief makes the decision for publishing the articles.
The review of any article in HSI is double-blind; that is, authors and reviewers will never know about each other.
This journal examines the articles for plagiarism, and if it is proved, the authors are blacklisted.
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for deciding which of the manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published based on the validation of the work in question and the reviewers’ comments.
Scientific Editor should abide by the rule of anonymity of reviewers and avoid any cases result in conflict of interests.
