Abstract
Mootabi refers to the spinning of goat hair in order to produce direct products such as Qatmeh, rope, Barpich and indirect products such as black tent cloth, cow's jaw, donkey's roonaki, camel's garment, khorjin, etc. The history of this handicraft art-craft in Bafruiyeh, which is one of the main centers of this art-craft throughout the country, can be considered at least more than two centuries. The main problem of this research is to show the course of historical developments of this art-industry in Bafruiyeh Meybod. The findings of this research, the data of which was provided by field and library methods and with the tools of observation, interview, photography, and recording, show that since around the 1940s and with the introduction of electric energy and machines to Meybod and Bafruiyeh, gradually in all The axes related to it, including how to prepare goat hair as a raw material, its transportation, production process, manufactured products, consumer markets, employment rate and its place in the economy, the social base of those working in this art-industry and the reputation of the city of Bafruiyeh. It has undergone many transformations. The purpose of this research, which was carried out in a descriptive-analytical method, in addition to better understanding of this handicraft and its historical developments, is to give an identity to the members of this handicraft and to prepare the grounds for more attention to it, in order to revive this art. - The industry is more up-to-date in its forms and forms. Strengthening the morale and self-confidence of the Mootabi of Bafaroui and helping to clarify the point that Mutabi still has its manual character and also helping to prepare the preparations for the registration of Bafroui as a national city of Mutabi can be considered as the achievements of this research
