Timurid architecture is rooted in the architecture of its previous periods. The Goharshad Mosque of Mashhad is one of the most important mosques in Khorasan and is a continuation of the Seljuk four-porch style and unique in its decorations, adjacent to the Razavi Court. Its porch is considered the most magnificent and the largest. Moqrans, an art in architecture with a historical background that was initially purely functional, but with the passage of time has become a decorative element with different construction methods. In the golden ages of Islamic art, Moqrans represents the creativity and innovation of architects, which has an evolutionary course, and is an art that has the ability to change the square plan to a circle and arrange triangles, capitals, ledges, semicircles or quarter domes, as well as the base of minarets. The presence of linear designs of types of moqrans in the Topqapi scroll, which speculations attribute to the Timurid and early Safavid era, leads this research to match the closest design of the scroll with the moqrans of Ivan Maqsoora, in order to achieve the purpose of this research: to identify the structure of moqrans of Moqsoura Ivan of Goharshad Mosque. Mashhad and its comparison with the linear model of Topkapi scroll, and the answer to these questions: What is the relationship between the structural elements Is there a moqrans of the porch of the Goharshad mosque with a cannonball scroll? And what are the commonalities and differences in the moqrans of the covered porch of the Goharshad Mosque with the linear pattern of the Topqapi scroll? which has been done with the analytical descriptive method and the collection of information in the way of document library and field observations.
