The city of Shushtar, which was once the capital of Khuzestan province, was one of the centers of jewelry manufacturing. According to the cultural diversity of the people of this region, a multicultural approach has been seen in their ornaments, based on this, the problem of the current research is how the multicultural approach is formed in the handicrafts of this city and what are the ornaments made in this field, with the aim of knowing the decorations and common cultural meanings. Iranian society is hidden in ornaments, especially in the region of Khuzestan and the city of Shushtar and its surroundings in the last two hundred years.
The approach of this qualitative research is ethnographic, in which the subject has been examined mainly by using field and library sources and the method of analyzing identification signs. Findings, in the multi-cultural context of Shushtar, the presence of different demands has caused the jewelers of this Shushtar to produce various decorative items, necessities of life, as well as decorative and evil-repelling dual objects based on the different tastes of the city's residents. In this biological context, ornaments such as Bennai, Chelab and Hill bracelets, which are respectively used by the Bakhtiari, Arab and Shushtri people, or ornaments such as Zagor and Khokhe, which are jointly used by the Bakhtiari and Arab people, have been created by the multicultural demand of this city. Also, the presence of decoration or role and value creation to objects (according to today's thoughts) not so important, such as a foot stone and a metal piece at the bottom and top of the fan, is a sign of the continuation of the tradition of decorativeism, Iranian art, which is in the heart of a city with characteristics, cultural convergence, There has always been a demand for it.
